Stock PTFE tube (Teflon™ tube) is a non-stick, semi-rigid plastic tube that can cause thin strands to slide right past the wiper and/or up onto the nozzle. The BenchRebel upgrade replaces the PTFE tube with a pure silicone replacement. It's 34% rebound resilience and flexible, overlappping silicone bristles grip and strip away thin, wispy strings that smooth PTFE tubes miss during standard purge passes. The stiff center blade on top of the wiper further scrapes and deglazes the tip during every wipe pass.
